What Is a Million-Mile Toyota Tundra Worth? https://t.co/jCKXGHTmjp pic.twitter.com/2vs96vMFu3

After driving a million miles, is a car really the same car you had when you started? After all, you've probably had to replace just about every mechanical component, right?
Wrong.
In 2007, Victor Sheppard bought a Toyota Tundra. He travels far, and often for his job, putting around 125,000 miles on the odometer every year. He eventually surpassed the million-mile mark. There have been countless oil changes, a replaced timing belt, and who knows how many new tires, but the engine, transmission, and paint are all still original.
"My truck looks great," Sheppard said, "and, except for a few little dents, it's almost like new. Even the seats look just as they were when I bought it. They're not as clean, of course, but they're not busted or worn out."
The million-mile truck is so astonishing, Toyota wanted it back! Earlier this week, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. traded Sheppard a brand new 2016 Tundra for his old one, so they can pull it apart and study the engine, chassis, and every other piece that will tell the story of how to make a longer-lasting vehicle.
